Hello!
I just HAD to tell you all about this! The other day I went into Manchester to buy my Dad a birthday present (which I did eventually end up buying haha, he's so awkward to buy for!) but lo and behold, what did I also end up buying?! An iPhone of course! Ahhhh I actually love it! It's so beautifullll! I got it from the Three shop, because they had by far the best deal - I got the phone for £100, with a contract of £35 a month for 24 months that includes 3000 minutes, 5000 texts, (could possibly be the other way around lol) 3000 Three to Three minutes and get this, ALL YOU CAN EAT DATA. Yes, you read that right. I can watch as many YouTube video's as I like and not have to worry. The guys that sold it to me were lovely too, which wasn't the case with Phones4U, but I won't go into that. I also ordered a case off Amazon on Wednesday 28th, and it came yesterday (30th)! I was so surprised it came so quickly! I love it too - it's an old school style cassette! Here's the link if you want to check it out :)
I'll leave you with this really quite embarrassing picture of me posing with my new phone haha

GLASGOW!
Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of posting, I've just been so busy! >.<
So on saturday I went on a day trip up to Glasgow with one of my uni friends! I'd never been there before, so I was excited just to see a new city.We ended up going shopping (I'll post a haul later on) before getting something to eat and going to the cinema where we saw Tin Tin (I do actually recommend you go see it - the animation was insane! They actually looked like real people!).
After the film was finished, we ended up walking around the city. We came across this brilliant allyway that had a net of fairy lights strung up like a canopy covering it and it was just so magical. When you stood underneath it, it was so pretty, and it looked like a close up of a galaxy somewhere. The lights reflections in the windows of the buildings looked like stars, and because it had been raining there were puddles that picked up the lights reflection and made the ground look sparkly. Ahhh, it was so nice.
When we managed to tear ourselves away and carry on walking, we came across the Doctor Who police box, so we had to take a picture with it. We looked like such tourists :') We also came across a statue of a guy on a horse that is famous because at night drunk people climb on it and put a cone on the guys head. Unfortunately, it didn't have a cone on when we were there, but I will return and take a picture of the statue - if it doesn't have a cone on, I'll put one there myself! ;)
Overall, I had a really fun trip and cannot wait to go back! To finish off, I would like to say a mahoosive THANK YOU to Miranda for being my (albeit slightly ditzy) guide! <3

FOTD and a Quick Little Chat
Or should it be Face Of Last Night? This is the makeup I wore when I went out with my friends the other night and I did not know what to wear at all! We were suppost to be going to a pub for a relaxed birthday drink and then out later on to rave in some club, so I didn't want to appear to overdressed for the pub or underdressed for the club. In the end I opted for neutral eyeshadow with black eyeliner and a sprinkling of glitter along the upper lash line to dress it up.
We had a really great night, ending up in a place that has a pub downstairs and a nightclub upstairs. They were giving out free popcorn on the door, and my friend kept saying today that she thinks the people spiked the popcorn because we all were just acting crazy that night! I get embarrassed just thinking about it! *0_0*
Yes, we made willies from our popcorn cones...

New Hair!!
I went to the hairdressers the other day to get my hair cut, because it had got to the stage where the ends felt absolutely disgusting. I had to go home for the weekend to get it done though, because the prices in Preston are ridiculous! Every place I went to wanted £35 and above just for a cut and finish! I was outraged! At home I got it done for £19. Anyway, when I went in, I asked them to cut to where the hair is healthy, and this is what I walked out with....
Wahh, I feel bald! Though I thought my mum was going to self combust when I got home and showed her, she like it so much! Haha! I've gotten more used to it now, and it is so much more convenient. It also feels soooo much nicer, and has got its gloss back! I have ordered Lee Stafford's Hair Growth Treatment though, because this is the shortest hair I've ever had, and I do like long hair. I'll review it later, if you like?
In other news, I have found out that I am a veritable SPENDING MACHINE!! T^T Oh my gosh I have spent sooo much money this week! I want so many things, and my loan's just come through so whenever I check my bank balance my heart leaps with joy (even though £1,500 of it is being transferred over to my mums account ¬ ¬ ). Hmph. I need to seriously budget from now on.
On a lighter note, just thought I'd post this picture as a farewell, so you can have a bit of a giggle! I'm trying to practice Japanese poses haha! :') Until next time,

Ramble, ramble.
I can't believe I've moved out of my home. It's only just hit me as well.
I moved into my new flat on Sunday, though I've still not fully decorated it yet. I've left so much stuff at home! I was so sure I had packed everything, but when I'd unpacked, I was like where's this, this or this?!! Sigh, I guess I need to be more organised! I'm in a mixed flat with three boys and two other girls, and everyone seems lovely. I was so worried about not getting on with my flat mates, especially on the drive up to the accommodation. I'm glad that fear was unfounded. In fact, one of the girls in my flat went to the same college as me and I've never seen her before in my life!! I couldn't believe it when she said where she went, but we know a few of the same people from there so I guess she did go LOL. What a small world.
The location is actually brilliant - I'm just across the road from where I'll be taking my lectures, so I was well chuffed! Haha! I also met some of the people that will be in my class, and they all seem really friendly, so I'm really looking forward to the lessons now!
I feel the need to buy a university hoodie. I've seen loads of people with them, and they actually look alright, so I might invest in one when my new card comes through (I lost the card that my student loan goes into. FML).
Here's a mini tour of my new room, as a thank you for reading this ridiculous post :)

Haul
I've got big news - I've decided to take up my offer at UCLan, so I'll be leaving home in 12 days! Eek! I only applied for accommodation the other day, so I don't even know where I'll be living yet! Ha! The course I'll be doing is Asia Pacific Studies, specialising in Japanese. Although at first I was reluctant to take up my offer there, I'm now actually quite looking forward to it! I can't wait to experience uni life...^^ Hmm, I guess I'll also need to get shopping for stuff like stationary (woohoo! I loove stationary - best bit about going to school! Hehe) and crockery. And speaking of buying stuff, here's what I bought on recent excursions....
Jumper:- River Island

1st Anniversary!
Oh wow! I just cannot believe how fast this past year has gone!! It only seems like yesterday when I first started typing the words to my first post...And now a year has passed, I've taken my A-level exams and am waiting to see what direction my life will take. Will I end up in Newcastle this year? Will I repeat my second year of college? Or will I venture out into the world and find myself a job so I can travel the world? Who knows? I'll find out tomorrow. Ahhh, either way, I'm on the verge of a big change. I promise to keep you updated throughout.
Peace (^_^)v

Essential Items To Take Abroad
As I've just come back off holiday, I thought I'd do a post on the essential items you should pack in your suitcase, based off my experience. So here goes!
Ooh Ahh Malia!
Yasou!
So, after a whirlwind two weeks of partying in Malia, I am back! I had a fab time, and would definately recommend it as a party destination (check out Safari club, Union bar and Pop World!). I am glad to be home though.
In preparation for my holiday, I had my nails done. I'm a serial nail biter, so I thought I'd treat myself and get gel nails. It was nice having them put on - quite theraputic - but my nails are going to pay for it if I have them taken off because they file the whole nail so it becomes really thin. The weirdest part was setting the gel under the UV light because it kinda gets hot, but if you press your fingers down then its fine again. It's not painful but is a really strange sensation!
Safe to say, I was mega impressed with them. However, they needed something extra for my holiday, so I decided to paint them in a way I've been absolutely dying to do but couldn't because I have short bitten nails...
I gave myself a sparkly French manicure! I used Revlon's new scented nail varnish in 345 Peach Smoothie as a base, then added Accessorize's nail polish in Molton Copper to the tips in layers, to create a graduating effect.
I'm happy with the way they turned out, and the fact that they lasted the whole of the first week! I did end up taking it off and painting them a delicious orange colour, but by then I had got a bit bored of them hehe!

When they were done, I was amazed because they looked so natural - like they were my own nails with a clear varnish on top!

Oh theJoys of Pale Skin.
OK, so some of my family from America have come over to the UK on a trip. We decided to go out for a walk yesterday, because it was all lovely and sunny. We ended up being outside for about three hours, then got home and sat outside in the back garden. After about an hour and a half of sitting there in the sun, I felt a little thirsty so I went inside, looked in the mirror and nearly DIED! I was bright red! I'd burnt my face (the fod and the nose in particular) and my chest. I was so embarrassed - I looked like a lobster! (lobster girl, mmm nice name :| ). The moral of this story? Wear suncream kids, because who wants a red semicircle below their TOTALLY UNBURNT white-as-snow neck? Not me!
:)
P.S. new makeup tutorial coming up soon! xx

London, the Royal Wedding and a Review.
~Picture taken from Google~
So, I've just got back from Surrey, were my cousins live. I had a really nice time, just relaxing and having fun. We watched the royal wedding, whilst wearing tiara's and waving union jack flags like weirdo's. I cannot express my love for Kate Middleton - her dress, her hair, her MAKEUP (that she did herself, may I add).
We went into London on the Sunday after the wedding, and the flags were still up down the Mall, so of course we had to get about ten million pictures of us with them, because "when else are they going to be up?!" It wasn't as fun as it sounds though, due to the trees that also line the Mall shedding their flowers/leaves, most of which ended up in my eyes.
We all ended up a bit crazy after having endured lots of little tree bits poking our eyes.
My mini haul ft. some Avon products I've just got!
The other things you can see in this picture are a bracelet I got from Avon, which I ADORE, and also a moisturiser that gradually builds up a tan (Avon's Skin So Soft Soft & Glow Ultimate Body Moisturiser). Now, I used the moisturiser last year, and I can say that it is hands down the best fake tan moisturiser you can buy. I have tried the Dove one, the Johnson's one, and the Nivea one, and all are beaten by this product. First of all, I love the scent. Its hard to describe - it smells rather sweet and clean, and reminds me of holidays - but is lovely nonetheless. Secondly, it has teeny tiny little bits of sparkle in it, that look amazing on the skin, especially when you've been using it for a few days and have built up a good colour. Which brings me onto my thrid and most important reason for loving this product. I confess, I am awful at applying fake tan. I'm so bad, that I've given up applying actual fake tan and have had to use gradual build up ones exclusively. So, when I say that you cannot go wrong in applying this lotion, I mean it. I get a flawless colour every time, which can almost be classed as miraculous. The icing on the cake is that it also contains SPF 15 - booyah!
Latly, here's a picture of me with my new hair! Yes, I took the plunge and once again got a fringe cut! ;)

Because my grandma was with us, we didn't go down to the Great Lake because the paths getting there were quite steep, though I don't feel like I missed out on anything. It was just nice leisurely walking around.

When we decided to head home, my legs were aching a bit, but I felt so happy and relaxed. We ate our ice creams sat in the car with the doors wide open, just chatting. Ahh, I wish it could have lasted longer!
Becoming Ariel.
Well, I finally did it! I dyed my hair red, a red I totally didn't expect aha! Its so red right now, I feel like Ariel out of the Little Mermaid! I'm impressed with the dye I've used (Superdrug's Colour Vibrance in Hot Red 77:44), up to now. I'll have to see how quick the colour fades, but I have to say, its not taken the shine out of my hair like the last dye I used, plus it was only £3.49! It took weeks to make my hair get back to its shiny self last time, which I wasn't happy about although I absolutely adored the colour it gave me (I used Revlons Coloursilk hair colour, in Bright Auburn).
Here's a picture of how it looks now!
This picture was taken in natural sunlight, without a flash!
And this picture was taken inside, with a flash (I think :S)
I'm glad I dyed it now, I think its a nice colour! What do you think?
UPDATE:- This colour has lasted forever!! I actually love it. It has faded a bit, so its not super bright red like it is in these pictures but it is stil definitely red, and in fact I like the colour better now!!

The Age of Adulthood and Russian Royalty.
So, I had my 18th birthday last week. It was nice, my family who live in Surrey came up and we went out for a meal on the Saturday, then on the Sunday the rest of my family came round for tea. I didn't get to go out with my friends, as I had such a busy weekend - on the friday night it was one of my friends 18th birthday party - but I didn't mind :) . I got lots of lovely presents, including a Pandora bracelet that I totally wasn't expecting! It's beautiful though :D.
Then, on the Tuesday after my birthday, it started to snow! I was a bit gutted it didn't snow on my actual birthday, but considering that we don't usually get snow until January, I wasn't too fussed! We got a good 4 or 5", enough to cause major disruptions, but not enough that college was closed and we got a snow day :( . Oh well, there's always next time! Aha!
Anyway, the main reason I started this post was to express my love for Rihanna's new video for her song Only Girl. I love it!! Ahh, it makes me want to dance, it makes me crave summer and it makes me think of magic and happiness! It also inspired my to buy a headband with a huuuuuge rose on it, from New Look! (namely this one)
I also wanted to talk about Doe Deere's new photoshoot - the Russian Royalty one. I. ADORE. IT. Everytime I look at it, I can't believe how beautiful she looks, how much like a Queen she looks! That beautiful dress! Oh, to be able to wear one of those! And I love the shape of her lipstick! I just can't seem to be able to do that! It's like Glee overload!! I have to say, this is by FAR my most favourite photoshoot she's done up to now, though I do like the one were she wears the necklace as a headband. I think its because they both seem quite mystical and fairytale like....
