Pretty New Things

The other day I decided to go into town with my mum, and we ended up going into Primark, even though it was absolutely heaving. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have some lovely things in at the moment - I ended up buying a pair of sandals for my holiday, as well as two dresses (one maxi with flowers on the hem and a fluorescent pink day dress with a lacy top half) and a few accessories.

I decided to share with all you lovely readers a couple of the accessories I got - namely a set of 6 pairs of earrings and a pair of hair clips. I don't usually buy earrings from Primark because they always seem to look cheap and nasty, but I thought these ones were really quite pretty and feminine, plus a steal at £2. The butterfly ones are really sparkly in the light, and I do love a bit of sparkle.

The hair clips are great for jazzing up a simple hairdo, without making it look too OTT. They're pretty fabric flowers with a diamante in the middle, that I think are really cute for spring. I've been wearing them almost everyday since I got them - I am in love!

Has anyone else seen any cute bargains recently?

Pretty Pastels

With the arrival of the new year comes the entrance of a new trend, and the one of the ones I'm loving the most is the preference for pretty pastel shades. I adore the muted, whimsical colours that can be found everywhere at the moment, the only problem is that they tend to wash me out quite badly so I have to lean towards the brighter, more saturated pastels.

Here are my top picks for this new trend:-

Winter Lust List

I really craving some retail therapy at the moment, probably because I'm inundated with work from my course and I know I'm going to be starting work soon (so I'll have more money to burn mwaha). So here's what I want right now.

Very dress - £39.00
ASOS dress - £55.00
New Look top - £24.99
Next blazer - £55.00
River Island dress - £40.00
 River Island top - £15.00

As you can see, they're all sensible options for the cold winter months.

Mac at LFW

Oh my gosh, I saw this and died. This is the makeup used at Vivienne Westwood's fashion show during London Fashion Week. I think it is just beautiful, so pretty and ethereal. It is decribed as

"Neo Neon Nymphs: a natural brow, opulent eyes, fiercely flushed cheeks & a pale pout, a luscious look to complement the Grande Dame of English fashion’s show."

Ahhh, l'amour! <3

Completely Fabulous T-shirts

I've just been browsing through some fashion blogs in the hopes of distracting myself from checking my email every two seconds (didn't work) when I came across this fabulous t-shirt on Style Bubble.

It totally sums up my mood right now, and is quite fun and cute. I really like it! I also think it would be a great D.I.Y project - you could add your own expletives like 'Jeanie Mac!' or 'Blast' or 'Drat' or 'Confound it!'... Hahaha the list goes on and on! I think I will try and make one of these, then post my results at a later date.

Net-a-porter sale!

Don't you just love looking at clothes you just cannot afford? I do! Net-a-porter have a good sale on at the moment, and I was just browing, picking out items that if I had the money, I would buy. So, without further adue, here are my top fourteen items from the sale!

1. Day Birger et Mikkelsen studded cotton jacket - I love this jacket, I think it looks really cool and can be worn in a variety of ways and for a variety of occasions, from a day out shopping to sipping cocktails in a bar.
